The Department of English established on August 18, 1991, the very date of the establishment of the college. Science, its starting, the Department has been acting to impart quality education. Over all response of Students has been successful in English learning.
Looking at the demand of Student Honours course in English was introduced on 2005 has gotten admirable success.
The college Library contains available books of English Department (Both Regular Course & Honours Course). The poor Students admitted in English Honours are facilitated, giving them all necessary books for the course.
Vision:
The vision of the English Department is to encourage the Students in English teaching and learning. It aims at initiation to Students the qualitative knowledge in English literature and language.
Mission:
For fulfilment of the vision, a few methods are accepted, Students are taught by serving lectures, group discussions, integration practice in speaking English. To enrich the student’s quality, unit tests and seminar are included in teaching method.
