DEPARTMENT OF BENGALI
The Department was opened in the year 1991. In the year 1993, Mrs. Bithika Chaki joined at first this college as a Lecturer of the Department of Bengali. She ran the Department very tactfully, After long time. In the year 2010, Dr. Banashree Banerjee, M.A., Ph.D. joined in this Department as a Lecturer.
Mission:
The mission of the Department is to project the study of language and literature as an effecting vehicle for promoting the cause of the social cohesion and National integration.
Objective :
To provide adequate infrastructure and facilities for the study of the Bengali language and literature.
