The chief goals and objectives of the institution are as follows:
- Quality teaching and completion of syllabus designed by the Gauhati University for U.G. students (Arts) in due time.
- Imparting higher education in the field of Arts to the youths of this locality.
- Imparting job- oriented education through co-curricular activities/ computer courses etc.
- Highlighting and preserving of local culture with the initiation of certificate course of local language.
- Initiating the courses for development of moral and ethical values in the students.
